25th Night Of Ramadhan

Johor Bahru, Johor.

25/08/2011 - That date was my birthday and it fell on the month of Ramadhan. This was the second time that my birthday fell on the same month, the holy month of Islam. And I feel pretty lucky, you know. Last time, Afif told me that within the years of our lifetime, our birthday will and has fall onto the same day as we were born on for several times. Like me, 25/08/1988 was Thursday and my previous birthday, this year, was also on Thursday. I've tried to calculate the margin of years for the day of our birth date that fell on the same day. It's not the same or accurate actually. For example, 6 years after 1988 (which was 1994) my birth date was on the same day, but then 6 years after 1994, it wasn't the same day until another 5 years; a total of 11 years later after 1994. But what the heck, it's my birthday! Yeah! ^^,

On this particular night, Arif, Rasyid and I planned to do qiamullail together at UTM's mosque. (The plan was basically made last week) Before the qiamullail, we had some activities to do. So, what we have done was visiting Ishaq at HSA, then we break fast together at Kampung Boy Restaurant, then performed maghrib - isya' and tarawih prayers at a mosque in Terminal Bus Larkin, then after that buy some donuts and cakes at City Square JB and eat them at Dataran. I've invited Mad Long to come along, unfortunately he can only join us for the qiamullail. I also invited Iqbal, but he can only join us for moreh.

Currently is the third phase of Ramadhan, which have ten days left before Syawal emerges. Within the ten days of the third phase, there is one night which is very special. It's called the Night of Lailatul Qadar, in which it is the night when Al Quran was descended by Allah SWT to the earth and to Nabi Muhammad SAW. And that night falls and occurs once only on the odd date within that 10 days e.g 21th, 23rd, 25th night and so on. Since my birthday was on the 25th night, I was really hoping that Lailatul Qadar falls on it, that was the reason for performing qiamullail with my friends. If it did, I'd be very lucky. ^^,

Well, FYI, if you follow the usual calender, I celebrated my birthday one day early, which was the 24th. However, according to Islamic calender, the new day merges after Maghrib prayer, and that is why its considered the 25th night.

So, for that night, I celebrated my birthday with my friends. Then on the morning of Thursday, I celebrate it with my family. ^^,

That afternoon, we visited Ishaq at HSA. We didn't know that Ishaq had changed ward, he was moved to the Tibi Ward. We searched for him, it was kinda difficult though and that made us wasted precious time, but eventually we found him. He was isolated, together with some other patients, from the usual wards. So we visited him. Then we rushed to Kampung Boy Restaurant because it was already 7 o'clock. Lucky for us that we booked early for a place to sit in the restaurant. Once we've reached it, we immediately went to our seats.

Kampung Boy Restaurant was a very tasty restaurant, all the foods were good and delicious. It was also served fast! Served right on time too! So, we were very satisfied with the service. The waiters were also nice too. It's a new restaurant there, located right below the Kapten's Restaurant. So, if you wanna have a good meal, good served foods, good services, good environment, clean and contemporary, I'd consider you to go there. ^^,

After we ate all the served foods, we went to the mosque in Terminal Bus Larkin to perform maghrib and isya' prayer along with the tarawih. After all prayers are completed, we went to City Square to buy some donuts and cakes. Rasyid and Arif was buying them in conjunction to my birthday. I really appreciate for what they've done, very2 much. ^^,

After that, we went to Dataran and had some foods there while eating the cakes and donuts that were bought. Iqbal and his younger brother also joined us. So we all had a great time celebrating, eating, talking and laughing. The cakes that were bought was from The Coffee Bean. Its cheese are really tasty and delicious, better that the those cheese cakes from Secret Recipe. I love the texture, which are smooth and soft, easy to sliced through. Not like Secret Recipe, their cheese cakes were a bit hard to slice through and the texture is kinda rough. But never mind, both of them make cakes and both of them are good and tasty. ^^,

So, below are the pictures that I've taken. ^^,

After all foods were finished, we were very much full. We kinda ate a lot that night. haha. So, Rasyid, Arif and I headed to UTM and do our qiamullail there. ^^,

So, Alhamdulillah, I am now 23 years old and I'm very thankful to Allah for all the blessing that He gave me. I wanna say thanks to my beloved parents for the present and for giving all the love to me, thank you so much Ibu Ayah, I love you! ^^, Thanks to Arif, Rasyid, Iqbal and his younger brother for buying me the foods. Thanks also to Mad Long, Taufik and Rasyid's friend named Qayyum for wishing me. Thanks to Farahin for wishing me precisely at 12am; the start of Thursday. Thanks to my x-colleague (degree), Izzati for wishing me. Thanks to Ghazi and his older sister, Ezzati, for singing the birthday song infront of my house at night and buying me ice-creams and also buying me foods at Dataran (again). ^^,

Yeah, I know, not much people wished me, but it doesn't matter. I feel thankful, very thankful. So, thank you all so much, I really appreciate it! ^^,
