Wedding Reception : Ammar & Shidah

Dewan Serbaguna Taman Teratai, Johor.

This was one experience which I was involved in a last minute call. haha. It was early in the morning on the 2nd of June when I received a call from Auzan (Ammar's elder brother) and he asked me if I could be his brother's photographer that afternoon. So of course, I had to show my courtesy and eventually agreed to help. And here it is, some photos taken on that day. Enjoy. ^^,

Wedding Reception : Akhmal & Aqilah

Senai, Johor.

Basically, Aqilah and I had some discussions about my photographic services for her up-coming wedding. Through that brief discussion, I assumed that I'm gonna be her photographer. It was merely an assumption so I had to confirm it first. A week before her wedding ceremony, I confirmed that she already had hired a different photographer, so practically it was fine with me. But then two / three days before her wedding, something changed and she hired me instead. hehe. Alhamdulillah, rezeki Allah. But anyway, mabrook Akhmal & Aqilah! Here are some of the photos taken, enjoy! ^^,

Plus, I got to meet a new friend and his name was Faiz. It was a pleasure being an official photographer together with him. Honestly, I don't know much about Bushra but I got to know that we went to the same elementary school back then. Anyway, congratulations to Bushra & Izzat. May Allah bless you guys. Ahmad & Hajar : Marriage

Taman Teratai, Skudai, Johor.

Alhamdulillah. After all this while, Ahmad is now a husband of Hajar. I have to say, it was a very exciting moment. Well, from what I've heard before, they were the most known-about couple during and after school. I didn't know much about them during the school years. But soon after we all entered the higher education institutes, I somehow managed to get some information about these two friends. I didn't believe from what I heard at first. But then there was this one proof that made me believe them. I've got to tell ya this - which I've been it keeping a secret for a long long time - there was this time, during matriculation, Ahmad with some other friends and I hanged out in the mosque. (This was the era where people buy cool technology as a trend - especially mobile phones.) I checked out Ahmad's phone, it was new kind of Nokia - can't remember what kind though. As I was checking it out, somehow I accidentally entered into his saved messages. I was surprised with what I saw. No, it was not anything bad because all those messages were all Islamic. But it was the sender that I was surprised of - all was from Hajar. You know what? I didn't even tell Ahmad about it. haha. As it has been proven to be true, this particular moment has been the most exciting occasion for all members of Sevenians (eh...?). haha.

On-Job Training

Royal Johor Country Club, Johor Bahru.

Early last month, my friend Radzi asked me if I would like to be his assistant photographer for a wedding reception. I figured, it would be best for me to gain new experience in wedding photography since he is my friend in the industry and a professional photographer & editor. So I've made a promise to him that I'll help him. This was a priceless opportunity for me. Basically, the wedding reception was associated with Radzi's family, relatives of Radzi's, something like that. So the job that we were doing, was kinda of a noble help for his relatives. Asyraf also tagged along with us, so Asyraf and I helped Radzi for this wedding photography.

At first, Asyraf and I met at Restoran Osman, then waited for Radzi to come. He had some things to settle first, then moments later he arrived. But then, he was informed that the make-up session will start at 12pm, so we went to another restaurant and had some few drinks there. 5 minutes before 12pm, we were off to this bridal "store" and patiently waited for the brides to come. And when they arrived, immediately I got myself ready to shoot photos for Radzi. I stayed there till 1.25pm, because I had to go to RJCC's banquet before the brides do, leaving Radzi and Asyraf with them. I arrived there at 2pm, and by 2.30pm the brides came. During that 30 minutes, I took some shoots of the place. 2.30pm, the real moment has started, all three of us took places and started shooting. Radzi taught me lots of things like angles, the dos and don'ts, etc. I obtained lots of useful tips from Radzi along the session. Thanks Radzi! ^^,

So, here are some of my shots. ^^,
